We are all poor. Not just money poor, but also time, energy, attention, spiritually, skillfully, mentally, and health poor.
Religion and spiritual health is low. Nihlism is high. We think we know everything. We know too much. But we know too much of the unessential.
The future is looking grim. The world is slowly ending, with no signs of slowing down. Global warming. War. Cold wars. Descrimination. Racism. Sexism. Poverty. Overpopulation. Diseases. Human trafficking. The environment and deforestation. Threat of AI, robotics, and bioweapons. Cyber attacks. Evil and corrupt wealthy, and powerful, including the government. Bought out media where money comes first, truth is barely there, and the real truth is buried while we are distracted.
The people in charge aren’t looking out for us. Greed has won. Mental health issues are at all time highs. Technology and social media has ruined all of us. Almost all of us are addicted. Almost all of us are fed lies. Almost all of us cannot critically think for ourselves.
We fear what the world may be for our children. It seems like things are just progressively getting worse. Will there even be a world in 2100? Or would it be a giant wasteland?
